1. Pella

This small town is full of charm! Home of the Tulip Time Festival each spring that bring over 150,000 visitors each year. This community is best known for it’s Dutch heritage, historic downtown, beautiful gardens and tons of recreation at Lake Red Rock nearby. Don’t forget to check out the Dutch bakeries!

2. Okoboji

When the weather is right, you’ll find endless activity in the sunshine and waves on the resort destination of Lake Okoboji. There are tons of activities not only on the water but around town as well. Stunning golf courses, hiking trails, antique shopping and an amusement park. So much fun in this small town in Iowa.

3. Decorah

No matter what time of year, Decorah has something for everyone to enjoy. Ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing in the winter to golf, biking and swimming in the local rivers during the summer months. Don’t forget to check out the local drive-in theater, one of the last remaining outdoor theaters in the United States.
