Backsplash Tile: The subway tile has always been a classic but there are many ways to lay subway tile. One way that has been gaining popularity is a vertical stacked installation. Darker colored backsplash tiles have also been growing in popularity.

Cabinets: You can expect to see stained cabinets making a comeback, especially the lighter stains. If you are looking for a way to warm up your space, using a stained cabinet is a great option. Another way to incorporate stains is to do a stained kitchen island with a white perimeter like this one.

Lighting: This is a great place that you can make a statement. One way to dress up a room is to use fun pendant lights or chandeliers. You can also increase your curb appeal by adding coach lights to the exterior. A big lighting trend we have been seeing is lights with a matte black finish and statement chandeliers.

Countertops: Quartz will continue to be a popular choice for countertops. With quartz, you can get the look of marble without the maintenance and it is very durable and stain resistant. Light quartz options with a light colored cabinets will be one of the popular design trends for 2021.
